- This picture uses mise-en-scene in many different ways, for example the prop used is a kitchen knife, a weapon linked to the home, the place where people feel safe, yet in this case it contradicts this due to the danger that is represented in this picture.
- Blood is shown on the knife this connotes a feeling of danger and the red colour is washed to stand out to the audience creating emphasis on the prominent theme of death.
-You can tell from this image by the prominent veins on the mans arm, that he is clenching the knife showing this persons anger.
